Green solutions that improve the construction and plastics industries

Continuous innovation
We develope natural fibers in order to create an ecologically-stable products that can rival the mechanical properties of petroleum-based fibers.

Kenaf Ventures holds vast knowledge that is based on decades of hand-on experience in various fields and disciplines at the forefront of global innovation, and continues to study and research in order to to ensure high standard products for our customers.

Through intensified research and experimental application with a wide range of natural sources, we have achieved significant breakthroughs and impressive development capabilities that are based on Kenaf and Hemp plants.
Overview
With recent concerns about the availability and sustainability of petroleum-reliant production processes, the engineering industry has seen increasing demand for the incorporation of natural elements that maintain industry standards in terms of mechanical, physical and chemical performance.

Kenaf and Hemp fibers have emerged as one of the preferable plant fiber alternatives, offering favorable mechanical properties with a reduced impact on the environment and significantly less chemical hazard.

Utilization of natural fibers such as Kenaf and Hemp is becoming imperative for companies that wish to remain ahead of shifting trends within their industry.
What is Kenaf?
A 4,000 year old NEW crop with roots in ancient Africa. A member of the hibiscus family (Hibiscus cannabinus L), it is related to cotton and okra, and was grown in Egypt over 3000 years ago. This crop was not introduced into southern Europe until the early 1900s. Today, principal farming areas are China, India, and it is also grown in many other countries such as the US, Mexico, and Senegal.
What is Hemp?
A variety of the Cannabis sativa plant species that is grown specifically for the industrial uses of its derived products. It is one of the fastest growing plants and was one of the first plants to be spun into usable fiber 10,000 years ago. It can be refined into a variety of commercial items including paper, textiles, clothing, biodegradable plastics, paint, insulation, biofuel, food, and animal feed.
Why Kenaf & Hemp?
An eco-friendly alternative to minerals, synthetic compounds and raw materials that are in short supply. It is a renewable resource that when integrated into supply chains, results in triple bottom line profits: Economic, Environmental & Social benefits!
Rapid growth: 4 - 6 months per cycle
Higher thermal and sound insulation
A light-weight, cost effective natural fiber
Ability to absorb huge quantities of CO²
Higher production rate in terms of tons of biomass
It enriches the land in which it grows
Pulping need less use of chemicals
Consumes less energy than wood pulping
Applicable for a huge range of value-added products
Most products are biodegradable or recyclable
